1898 2nd Class Marksman N.G.P. MEDAL / RIBBON / PIN Up for bid is a Medal / pin for the Marksman of the National Guard of Pennsylvania. Dated 1898. All bronze medal has 1898 2nd Class Marksman. Medal depits a soldier in uniform holding a rifle with mountain range in the background. Underneath has the initials N.G.P. Back reads as follows: TO THE MARKSMEN OF NATIONAL GUARD OF PENNSYLVANIA WHO ENTERED UNITED STATES SERVICE IN WAR WITH SPAIN 1898. Good condition with little to no wear - exception the pin is broke (see pics). All original pieces. Measures approx. 3 1/8". We have about 8 or 9 Civil War / Spanish American War items.
