PICTORIAL ATLAS OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE WORLDPublished by The Philadelphia Inquirer, in 1899, following the Spanish-American War; hard cover; 344 pages of text, maps, charts and diagrams similar in layout to those shown in the photos; atlas measures about 15" x 11 3/4." Hard cover has obvious wear and soiling and a spine which has been taped, as shown in the photos; all interior pages are intact, except for the title page to the section on the Spanish-American War, as shown in the photos; no writing or scribbles; all maps appear complete, with no tears; no odors. Photos accurately depict condition and colors.
