This is a neat item put out by the W. and L.E. Gurley Co. Troy N.Y. One side advertises the surveying products of this company, the other has a rotary disc used to calculate difference of elevation from a surveyor's transit. Fascinating item. Booklet consisits of two clothbound boards. Outside is in excellent condition. Inside condition is very good due to some light age related foxing on dail and paper. Copywright 1899.
