Hi....18CT Asprey Gold Unisex Watch.......You are bidding on an 18ct Asprey gold watch with alterations ..........I re-listed this watch after coming to the conclusion that the original movement has been replaced by a slightly later dated movement which has shock jewels for the balance and Escapement pivots. This was confirmed when I contacted the previous owner and I did actually discover that Asprey did replace the movement with a movement that was of a later date, adding that the replaced movement was a movement used by Asprey. I would say the case and dial are original but the dial (without feet) has been fixed as the movement is different.This movement is not for collectors who are wanting the watch to be an all one watch when originally sold.The watch is an Asprey 18ct gold watch and keeps perfect time. It has been serviced.It has a great 18ct gold case with wired lugs of the 1920s.The dial is 1920s.It measures 30mm from lug to lug and 22mm wide including crown.The glass of the watch is real glass. The watch length is 8 inches.It can been worn by a man or female as it is of a medium size.This is a great looking watch that has class and if you are not fussy about the movement being replace by a later Asprey endorsed model about 1930/40s then this is the watch for you.
