This auction features a real 18K TREASURE! *This brooch weighs in at .6oz on my postal scale. This beauty measures about 2 3/4" x 1 3/4". It's difficult to measure as the "fronds" are all over the place, but this gives you an idea of the size. *The mark is on the pin toward the end opposite the clasp. It is marked 18K and t is a makers mark I do not recognize and cannot explain. (Wasn't able to get a good picture of it either. Sorry.) *One of the pictures looks as if it has a ding in the shiny gold part, but I will guarantee that t are no imperfections in this piece! *The long wispy matte finish and detailed fronds gather into two shiny finish lengths of the gold. It is a very nice design that would look great on a suit lapel or black dress. *If you take a look at the reverse side of the brooch, you will find that much care has been taken to stabilize and support all the parts. *Would be a great piece to wear, add to your collection, or give as a gift. You will love it! *I would hate to see this nice piece go for scrap, but that would be the buyer's choice. Please contact me with questions. Would love to discuss this piece with you! Shipping is $3.95 for first item. I will gladly pack your winnings (from my auctions) accumulated in a 5 day period, and charge $1.00 for each additional item/auction . (I may need to charge extra for heavier lots, but this will be explained in the particular auction.) These will be shipped together. When you are ready I will send you an invoice. Insurance is optional, but without it, I can not and will not take responsibility for the item(s) once I have left them at the Post Office. Insurance is $1.65 for up to $50 in value, $2.05 for $50-$100, and $2.45 for $100-$200. I have bought my fair share of items on ebay, and will take care to carefully wrap your winnings for their travel to your home. Unless specified, all auction items are vintage. This means that they belonged to me or someone else and were gently used and greatly loved! You can expect wear consistant to the age of the piece and use. If I have inadvertantly left out information about the piece, it's condition or an unusual problem, I will happily discuss a return with you. I am reasonable and I would hope that you would be also. If you do not think you will be happy with the piece, please do not bid on it. Ask questions in advance. I will get back to you as soon as I can. I'm not an expert, but I will do my best to discribe each piece and anwser your questions. All auctions are sold "AS FOUND AS IS." I do not clean jewelry as some buyers want the natural patina on their pieces. You may give them a gentle bath when they get to their new home, if you so desire! Paypal is preferred, but I will accept money orders and cashier's checks. Just contact me after the auction ends to specify how you will be paying and if you are waiting for more of my auctions to end. If you are paying by credit card with paypal, please make sure you are having the item shipped to a confirmed address. I am not independently wealthy, have a couple other jobs, so be patient with me. I have had 26 foster children, dogs, a cat, and two turtles sharing my home.
