Most exclusive collector's colorful multi-gem & diamond 18kt necklace set with matched earrings ! A unique master piece, one of its kind & possibly the only one in this world !!! This gorgeous necklace is collector's special and was made with all "heart and soul". This necklace is about 16 years old, crafted in solid 18kt gold and studded with all 100% natural. earth-mined torumalinne gems and aquamarine gems. Actually this necklace should be stated as 23 years old as it took full 7 years in making as the owner of this necklace was "hell bound" for the best in aquamarine gems and tourmaline gems of particular color, shade, clarity, size, shapes and the most special cuts (faceting) !!! And it took him almost 7 years to collect all these stones. He mentioned, that for him, getting all these gems was like collecting stamps, as he was not willing to invest in larger collection of gems and pick out the desirable ones from a lot. Instead, he collected all these gems one by one. This aspect makes this necklace set even more special ! So this necklace is a "REAL COLLECTOR'S ITEM", with all these gems collected the real hard way. All the colors you see in this necklace except the light blue colored gems, are all natural tourmaline gems. The light aqua blue colored gems are natural aquamarine gems. One more special fact about all these gems is that these gems are all special cushion cut, multi-step emerald cut and some of them are intricate portuguese cut. Except the two gems in the earrings, (the pink tourmaline trillion at the bottom and the green oval above it), all other gems are eye clean of VSI-SI clarity and are completely transparent, AAA+ clarity. The colored gems in the necklace and earrings are intercepted with diamonds of VSI clarity and I-J color. The owner's record states that the necklace-earrings are studded with a total of 89.10 carats of gems and 2.25 carats of diamonds. The necklace weighs 58 grams and has a total length of 17 inches. It secures through gold push-in lock. The pendant in the centre drops 1.75 inches long. The earrings drop 2.25 inches long and weigh 17.95 grams. The earrings are for the pierced ears and have deluxe clasps for comfortable wear. The necklace and earrings were crafted all in 100% solid 18kt gold and have an additional frame under the prongs, a sure sign of un-compromised workmanship !!! Please refer to all the pictures.
