Great ESTATE find of a Huge 17" Diameter Pewter Charger with 3 touchmarks. One is a crowned Rose while the other 2 are difficult to see. One has SMITH at the bottom, while the other has LONDON but the rest is difficult to read. I don't know if the one with Smith is for the Pewter Smith or is a makers name. Wide 2" Rim with a single Reed. I am guessing this to be English and dating to either the 1700s or 1800s. Beautiful Dark Patina (So I guess it contains Lead). A Magnificent item to add to your collection! Some surface wear but does not distract from its Beauty!
