This is a beauty ... a pine wall hanging candle box that I've dated as 18th C owing to the hand wrought nails to the base (there are also two more contemporary nails someone put in as additional re-enforcement. There is also an "apology" ... namely the broken hole on one side for hanging. I've put quotes around the word apology, though, because this isn't a break as much as its simple wear from having been used over the centuries and hung on the wall .. the hole simple wore out (compare my last two pictures). A tentative "repair" has been added by someone so it can be hung, but if it were my box I'd remove that repair and simply use the box as a table decorative accessory. In any event, she's being offered without reserve, but buyer pays $12 for priority USPS domestic shipping.
