Rare Style Superb 18th C French Faience Veuve Perrin Painted Scene Travel Inkwell Box Approx. 1 3/4 by 2 1/4 by 4 inches Lovely piece with Woman in a landscape on lid and 4 sides painted in floral splendor. Opens to a silvered etched ink well with shaker. Black VP older mark. Lovely condition for age with strong paint. One small chip on the side where the silver area meets the porcelain.
