Offered here is a very rare original 1900 edition of the Colorado Midland Railway and Midland Terminal Railway advertising booklet titled "A Chain of Gold Cities in the Cripple Creek District." Measures 6.0 x 6.25. Includes twenty four pages of very well detailed information and many photographs of the CM Railroad and MT Railway routes through the Cripple Creek District mining towns, from Anaconda to Gillette. Also includes a well detailed Colorado Midland Railway map showing The Cripple Creek Road and the rail rout from Denver to Ogden, Utah. Photographs of mines around the district from the Vindicator to the Portland and Independence Mines to the Elkton Mine. As fine a piece of Cripple Creek mining and railroad history as I have seen. Great graphics on the heavy paper cover of a well equipped miner on his way to the headframe. Thanks for looking!
