THE RAILWAY MAGAZINE BOUND VOLUME VI JANUARY to JUNE 1900 You are bidding on a rare bound volume of The Railway Magazine: January - June 1900 . VOLUME # 6 !!! It was published in London, England. Hardback book with dark green cover and black embossed lettering. Please forgive the weak photo, but t is a lot of light reflection from the cover. This superb book has 576 pages. It includes plenty of photographs and drawings. The 6 monthly issues in this volume provide a fascinating historical perspective of steam locomotion and railway development. As usual, in addition to plentiful and varied articles about British railways, t are articles about contempoary international railway developments. This volume is excellent interest for the modeller, preservationist or enthusiast. The book was purchased new, in London, by my Grandfather. It is in excellent condition. Inside, nothing is missing or torn, but the pages have browned a bit with age. The top corners of the cover are damaged. My grandfather placed a printed "In Memoriam" sheet on the inside cover of the book, dedicating it to Second Lieutenant Arthur George Tyndall, who was killed in action at Passchendale, Belgium on 18 November 1917, while fighting next to him. I am selling several other things at the moment, including 6 other old books from my Grandfather's Railway Magazine
