Walter Bauman Jewelers of Short Hills Here is a beautiful 14kt yellow gold locket with green colored guilloche enamel surrounded by pearls from the 1900's! Guilloche enamel is a type of enamel over a metallic surface giving it a distinct look. On the back side of the locket you can see there is an area where you can put a pic or keepsake. During the time this was made it was probably used to keep hair from a lost loved one for mourning. The locket is in gorgeous condition with some minor scratches on the back side where the solid gold area is. It has a weight of 10.9 grams and measures about 29mm. The item is not stamped but is tested for 14kt gold. Makes a great collectors item. Any questions please ask!
