1900's Limoges Scalloped Gold Rim Cake Plate Set -8+2 This auction is for a set of eight Limoges dessert plates and two slightly larger matching serving plates. All ten pieces are in very good condition; no chips or cracks except for a small flake onthe underside of the rim on three of the smaller plates and one of the larger (not noticeable from the front of the plate). Each dessert plate measures 8 inches in diameter and the serving plates measures 9 1/4 inches in diameter. The plates have a scalloped gold edge and they are decorated with colorful carnations. The gold band is in good condition with some minor wear. The bottom of all pieces is marked with the purple Tressemann & Vogt mark and the green Lanternier mark used by the companies between 1892-1907.
