1900s Louisviille,Kentucky Scrap Iron & Metal Co.business card-Central State tooDescription Check it out...Here's a very uncommon Circa-1900-10s Era 4" wide by 2 1/4" tall business card from a Scrap Iron & Metal Company in Louisville, Kentucky with a tie-in to the legendary Lakeland Asylum / Central State Mental hospital too! The card reads: "A. Epstein. L. Golden. Louisiville Iron & Metal Co. Dealers In Scrap Iron and Metal- Second Hand Machinery and all kinds of Pipes. Office and R.R. Yards Cor. Jackson and Meriwether Sts. Louisville, Ky." on front & the original owner has written: "Lakeland Asylum and at John B. Gaines Sparta Lodge F + AM 260 Sparta, Ky." in pencil on the back-Has only light wear expected for it's age-A great vintage item ready for display! How many of these survived?
