Up for bids is a fully restored 1901 GE brass blade table fan better know to collectors as a "big motor yoke mount".Brass blades measure a total span of 12" across.This fan is a 3 speed model and the head can be tipped up or down in the trunion or aimed side to side by loosening a wing nut.Fan was completely dissasembled and beadblasted to the bare metal.All metal parts were then surface prepared with a high grade automotive primer followed by several coats of high gloss black automotive paint.The depth of the fans black finish is outstanding against the brass.Also,t are NO white specs in the paint as the pictures may appear to have spots.This is a result of the sun's reflection in the deep shine of the paint back to the camera.All brass was polished to a high luster and then clearcoated to prevent premature reoxidation.Brass information tag on top of the motor was also refinished / painted,polished and clearcoated.Motor windings were removed,cleaned an reinsulated with red motor winding varnish.Armature was also cleaned.A new old style headwire was installed that goes from the motor windings to the 3 speed switch in the base.Also,a New old style twisted power cord and new old style plug.Last but not least new repro rubber base feet to help prevent marring of any furniture you might set the fan on.Don't confuse my restorations with
