1903 LARGE FOLIO - CHARLES DANA GIBSON, THE WEAKER SEX 80 DRAWINGS RARE"Eighty Drawings including the Weaker Sex--the Story of a Susceptible Bachelor", by Charles Dana Gibson. This very large, oblong book was published by Charles Scribner's Sons of New York and dated 1903. The book measures 17 ½ x 12 inches and is bound in beige paper hard covers with black titles and one of the drawings on the cover which has beveled edges. The pages are not numbered but it is does say that there are eighty drawings. The copyright page notes that: "This is the eighth book in the regular series of Mr. Gibson's published drawings." The top edge of the pages is gilt.Store purchased copy, not ex library. Book is in good condition. Clean pages, and boards with a tight spine. As seen on photos the cover has some paper loss and chipping on edges. The covers have great character. Rope binding is slightly loose, like all of these editions. Appears that all pages are present.I have a second Charles Dana Gibson book. I would be able to combine shipping for both.Insured shipping is $9.99 through USPS Priority.
