1903 Pope Manufacturing Columba Chainless Women’s bicycle. Shaft drive bicycle built in Hartford, CT. Bicycle is missing a few parts but a perfect candidate for restoration, a good rider once remaining parts are found, or decoration as is.The bike is mostly original except incorrect front hub and mismatched handgrips that are pretty beat up. Front wood rim correct for the era of the bike. Original nickel present but far from perfect. About 75% of original paint in good condition. Correct head badge present with the Model 105 seen in pictures. I believe the original pedals are on the bike and in good condition. I also believe the original seat is present but the leather is cracking and ripped in a few places. Original ball end spoke rear hub is on the bike. Ball end spoke are not on bike as well as rear wooden rim is missing. The gear cover and one of the screws holding the rear hub are missing. The rear fender is metal and dented in a few places. The handlebar stem is loose and I am not sure how to tighten it so a piece could be missing or I might just not know enough about the bike to tighten it.I will try to answer any questions. Bike can be shipped via bikeflights to anywhere in continental US.
