Up for auction is this rare GERMAN HOHNER ACCORDEON . It has many great features to make a desireable piece for collectors . If you collect vintage instruments , Unusual items , World's Fair or conversation pieces . This could fall in any one or combination of catagories . I have no idea as to value but it was a quality piece in 1904 . Again I could not play one of these if my life depended on it . If you open it quick and close it quick it makes a sound . This is complete to the best of my knowledge , but have to sell it as non functional because I have no idea if t is something you push to shift , or block something to make changing sounds and also t is something loose inside it rattles when you turn accordeon over or shake it . This is really unique and well made . It is marked GOLD MEDAL WINNER HIGHEST AWARD ST LOUIS 1904 . Has brass horn that runs up side , Each corner is re-enforced with metal tabs with a picture of M HOHNER . Marked STEEL BRONZE REEDS . Has strape on each side . The side with horn has ten white buttons one is loose , does not pop out like the rest . Other side of accordeon has two flapper type valves . On the side of horn t are some large letters but they are faint , looks like they
