A very nice gents pocket watch by the American Waltham Watch Co. USA. It will date by the serial number 13593673 to circa 1904. The "colonial series" 17 jewelled movement is very clean and keeping good time for a pocket watch of over 100 years old. The slim rolled gold case measures 48mm diameter approx. and is in excellent condition . Hinges are strong and unstressed and all covers close well. It is guaranteed to wear for 25 years and is not showing any signs of rubbing through anywhere. The rolled gold chain is in nice condition but is showing some light signs of plating wear which would not be seen when polished. The fob has the initials IOOF in blue enamel and is in similar good condition to the chain. It has a very nice silver dial and a new unbreakable glass has just been fitted. A nice watch for the collector as they are seldom available in this condition and good working order. I will refund in full if the item is found to be "not as described"
