This real photo mug shot measures 3 1/4" by 5 1/4". It was issued by the 'Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, City of Scranton, Pa.' on September 13th, 1904. The crime was 'Larceny of Bicycle'. It includes Bertillon Measurements, which were used for identification before fingerprints. It also pre-dates the profile photo used in later mugshots. This is one of 10 early mugshots I shall be listing over the week. (See other current listing). Good vintage condition, some wear along the edges.Terms: No Buy-It-Nows, No Reserve.
