A very nice old child's sewing machine. It is in working condition. These sewing machines were sold through the Montgomery Ward 1904 Catalog. This sewing machine was sold as a child's sewing machine, not as a toy. It was meant to teach young girls how to sew, and make clothes for their dolls. The machine is made of mostly cast iron, painted black, with gold, red and green colored flowers painted on. The word Pony is painted in gold on the bottom. The very bottom of the base is made of wood. The machine measures about 8 inches tall x 7-1/2 inches wide x 2-1/2 inches wide. The paint and decorations are in very nice condition. The metal sewing plate, or table top, does show slight rust, but it is in as found condition, and I have not attempted to clean or polish the machine. What appears to be a piece of the circle of the body of the machine on the right side, is meant to be, as that is w you feed the material through to sew. What a great chance to buy this hard to find little gem now to add to your collection. The well wrapped shipping weight is 3 pounds. Insurance and Delivery Confirmation are required. If you have any questions, please ask before you bid, as our items are old and in used condition, tfore all sales are final. I am not an expert, but I describe to the best of my ability.
