1905 Photograph Album Notable Peerage Luxford Scotland Coton House Social Histor Description: This is the second of four albums pertaining to the the Robertson-Luxford family of Bught House, Inverness. Audrey Marion Robertson Luxford was the daughter of Stewart Odiarne Robertson Luxford. She married Charles Bayard Rich who was to become a Major in the Royal Field Artillary. The four albums span from late 1800's to 1940's & include social history, topography, military, naval & sport . This particular album contains approx. 90 photographs dated 1905 & depicts aristocrat social history, shooting, an old 30.40 HP Daimler, & holidays at notable family homes in Scotland & England. HMS Triumph & Caesar. A large photograph of the marriage of Gladys Louisa Wakeman to Capt. Hugh Devonport Colville, C.O. HMS Porpoise, at Coton Hall. The album is leather bound , worn to edges, cover to spine missing & front cover detached although pages of thick card are all fixed, a little brittle to edges. The album measures 23 x 20 cms Thank you for looking All items I list are original & thus some may show signs of normal ageing.
