Antique Schumann Bavaria in the Dresden Pattern dating to 1905, part of an estates wedding present and this service goes beautifully with the perfect compliment of the Dresden Saxony pattern, without the characteristic piercing of Dresden work. Each plate measures 6 inches in diameter. Features a brilliant Multicolor Bouquet at the plates center, surrounded by rondules, with delicate relief in the texture of the china itself. The handpainted gold leaf detail is in excellent form , and the bouquet work is done in lithograph, in reverence to the Dresden Pottery Works. as well you will find many varieties of bouquets, so your lead photo is an example of what you will get. Condition Report and PLEASE READ CAREFULLY; Two plates are suffering from one chip to their bottom rims, a flaw at manufacture. The balance of ten plates are as mint as you will get.
