This is the 1906 diary of Mrs. Edith M. Heath from Rodman New York. She lived with her husband Fred,and I believe her mother in law lived with them too.She was about 43 years old when she wrote this diary,and was a hard working women,who was always busy.She talked about many things ,some of which include, making soap,sewing,mending horse blankets,Fred working on the telephone lines, cooking,baking,cleaning, the boys threshing,drawing manure,cutting corn, babies being born, people dying,and getting married,and much much more! I believe Fred passed away in 1923 after a long illness.The diary is full except for about nine days.Its in good condition,and measures about 4" X 2".A very nice look back in time!I have some census information on Edith that I will send along with the diary.
