Nice groupof travel ephemera. They are from an 80 day trip someone took in 1906. Includes: · A Guide Book for tourists in Japan – 1906 · The Times Oriental Party booklet – A trip by land and sea to the Orient - 1906 · Kyoto Map (same time period) The guide book is about 300 pages. It is dated 1906. It shows a little wear, such as curled corners, but not bad at all. The only writing I saw was the owner's info on the first blank page. The Times Oriental Party material consists of a 16 page booklet describing the trip, destinations, schedule, etc. The 80 day trip started in Los Angeles and traveled by train to Seattle and then went by ship from Seattle to the Orient (Japan, Hong Kong, China) and then returned to the US. Also included is the orange booklet which has brief info for the trip, the itinerary and a list of all passengers. The rest of the booklet was dated for use as a daily diary for the trip and is completely filled out. The Kyoto map is in excellent condition and unfolds to about 14" x 15 1/2".
