Welcome! Up for bids is a rare 1907 12" Antique composition celluoid baby doll. This doll is in new condition at 106 years old. This doll belonged to lady named Olga Jackson. This was a doll she had as a young girl. Seems the doll was stored away for many years as there are no signs of wear except some fading in the painted hair at the back of her head (seen in pic). Doll has a wax like shine to the skin and just beautiful. The dress she wears is of a silk feel if not silk. Pale yellow or ercu in color with floral design here and there, short sleeve with wide shawl collar. Her vivid blue eyes and rosey cheeks just bring this doll to life. I found no markings on this doll but not all dolls; especially the very early ones are marked. She is very lovely and part of doll history. Make this doll part of your antique doll collection.
