She looks like a mermaid or Lorelai to me. Beautifully executed, Initialed and dated on the front with the woodburning of an elegant lady on the left. It is a pretty example of American folk art. Looks like D. B. 1/17/07. Cannot really appreciate it from my picture. It measure 9x7.5. It has and easel back with a slot in the top of the frame for inserting your picture. This is 100 yrs old and has a few flea bites....just the same it is fabulous.
