Internally near fine; very clean, tight, bright, unmarked. Folding map repaired bur in a good shape. Very interesting and quite authoritative (although quite biased and anti-Russian) look at the Manchuria region on the eve of the Russo -Japanese War . Many rare and interesting photographs! Fascinating reading! Russia, China, Japan, Port Arthur, Manchu, Amur, the Russo-Chinese Bank, railway, rouble, Siberia, Manchurian question, Russo-Japanese War, etc, etc.
