1908 Alex Smith Signed Book Photograph. Alex Smith was one of five golfing brothers from Carnoustie, Scotland. His brother Willie won the US Open in 1899 and Alex won it twice-in 1906 at Onwentsia in Chicago and again in 1910 at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. This is an extremely rare US Open Champion autograph. It is written on the title page (removed) of his book "Lessons in Golf" and dated 1908. All black fountain pen ink retains a boldness of at least 9/10 and the page will appear as NRMT with a simple framing job. LOA from Mark Emerson. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
