1908 Hand Colored Dallas TX Post Card Gaston Avenue Baptist Church. The neoclassical structure on Gaston Avenue near Baylor Hospital was completed in 1905. Designed by architect Clarence W. Bulger, it was virtually identical to Bulger's First Baptist Church in Galveston. The church served its congregation for over 80 years before they voted to relocate to North Dallas. The handsome structure has been occupied by the Criswell Bible Institute for the last thirty years.
