This week I will be listing selections from an estate service of DOMINICK and HAFF Sterling Silver in the classic "Imperial" pattern introduced in 1909. The set is in excellent condition with only the light surface scratches that give old sterling its warm patina. It is monogrammed with the initial "W" on the handles. It looks like an earlier monogram was removed--not noticeable (see photos) but mentioned for accuracy. I have lightly polished the set for photos but any gold-washed bowls have not been cleaned. This auction offers the handsome 7 1/4" GRAVY LADLE. The bowl is nicely gold-washed. The back of the handle has the maker's mark and patent date.
