is a rare RPPC REAL photo post card. This circa 1909 Milton WI cancelled divided back photograph view of the Coach and team. It is addressed to Alkali Pete Hummel of Sheridan lake COlorado with a great note " M. vs Janesville Next Thursday night. We have got to beat them. They skinned us by one point down t . ( signed ) Tino or Pino ". The Manager has on the Milton COllege Letter Sweater with his team sitting and one hunk of a young man reclining in front. Their uniforms and knee socks pressed and ready for GAME ON. Th ball has written " 1909 " on it with the printed caption " Milton College 1 st Basket Ball Team , Milton Wis. ~~ #3874 ". . Wonderful sports related sporting team photograph from the turn of the 20th Century. I have some of the early cards up at this time ~~ so check out the other auctions.
