This is a Pickard sugar bowl with a lid and a cream pitcher in the Violets in Pane pattern handpainted and signed by Albert H. Wagner between 1910 and 1912. Both pieces have heavy gold borders and handles with knots. The blanks are from France but the Pickard mark has been placed over the marks of the blanks. I think that they are Haviland. Both pieces are in gread condition with the exception of a small flake off the inside of the footrim of the sugar bowl. The sugar bowl is 3 & 3/4" tall with the lid in place and the creamer is 2 & 3/4" at the top of the handle.
