Antique Flemish Art Still Life ~ Pyrography Wood Art ~ Fruit in a Basket.This is a wonderful old pyrography art board with a beautiful carved, painted and wood burned peaches in a basket. I have collected Flemish Art for a while and have never seen such a wonderful example.It measures approximately 27 1/2" x 16 1/4 and 3/8". It is in good vintage worn condition, with a few scrapes on the front. It has a lovely patina. The back is marked "Flemish 880 Art" and it is hand dated January 26, 1910 and is signed by the artist and dedicated to someone._________________________History________________________________________The word “pyrography” means "writing with fire."
