Rare 1910 Longmans, Green and Co FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING of Andrew Lang's Last book in his Fairy Book Series ~ THE LILAC FAIRY BOOK ~ with 6 full page coloured plates, including tissue guarded frontis and numerous other black and white illustrations by H J Ford. Illustrations are beautiful! Binding mod tight. Cover very stained. Some staining/smudging within. First blank endpage has 3" tear. Last blank endpage appears to be missing? Previous owner placed some white binding tape on front endpage to keep pages sturdy.
