97 Yr. Old Calendar Plate !! / MINT !! Beautiful vintage 1910 New Years calendar plate with charming cherubs sitting on acanthus style scrollwork as they each are ringing in the New Year. In the scene, you can see a tipped-over candle stick, an hour glass, and in the background are billowing soft clouds. Under the cherub scene, t is an advertisment for a shop that reads, Goe. A. Collins, Druggist and News Dealer, Kodaks and Fishing Tackle, 57-59 Elm. St. Lakeport, N.H. Plate has a wonderful soft pale umber, or light tannish colored border, with scalloped edges. The edge of trhe plate has the twelve calendar months, in light soft mint green color. The calendar dates are clear and sharp, except for the 30th of June, which has a tiny, tiny smudge, from its manufacturing. It's a tiny flaw, but it gives it character and adds great antique appeal to it. The calendar sheets are anchored by a yellow ribbon and baby blue florals decorating the entire border of the plate. T is a gold trimmed pattern between the cherub scene and the outer edgfe of the plate. Gold is in excellent condition for its age.
