Here is a rare early Ringling Brothers Circus RPPC Real Photo AZO stamp box marked postal mailing card postcard from 1910. It shows the main street view and all the activity of the circus coming to town .... parading down the main street of Asheville with thousands of people along the parade route with horses , mounted curcus riders leading the procession with lances and banners ...... for the circus parade down one of the main streets. A wonderful horse drawn surry with a wicker seat if visible in the foreground. Large groups of black folk are gathered together on both sides of the streets and white folks spread up and down the avenue in front the storefront businesses and shoppes .... with folks on the second and third floors hanging out of windows and on every balcony. It is uncancelled divided back postal mailing card. The caption is " ...... as above .... Ringling Bros. ~~ Asheville N. C. ~~ October 17, 1910 ~~ H. W. Pelton ( Photographer )". Shipping is $3.99 with cardboard protection. If you just want it slipped into an envelope, I am happy to do it for $1.59 but I need to send a separate invoice; so please ask.
