Hello, i have in my possession a beautiful example of a very antique Heubach, his name is Whistling Jim. This bisque flange neck Gebruder Heubach 87-74 boy doll measures 13" in height. He is a solid domed bisque flange neck with pink tinted bisque, lightly sculpted and painted blond boyish hair, intaglio side-glancing painted eyes with accents and white dots, brush stroked brows, with open accented mouth with lips drawn together as if whistling. The "Whistler" belongs to the most well-known and popular of Heubach character dolls worldwide. He has an original torso with bellows mechanism which when squeezed causes him to emit a whistling sound. His head is marked "5 // 42 // 8774 // Heubach square // Germany". he has all his original clothing including: shoes, socks, and pajamas; witch is quite rare. He shows some small small stains and signs of being 100+ years old but he is in overall excellent shape! I have many more dolls and antiques of this nature as my grandmothers antique shop is unfortunately being liquidated, if you have any questions, concerns, or interests please don't hesitate to give me a call at thank you for your time.
