Up for auction is an original and vintage cap badge for the ARGYLL AND SUTHERLAND Highlanders.Took this badge to a Chicago militaria show and showed it to a British military dealer.He told me that this is an early cap badge and predates WWI.He estimated date of manufacture at about 1910.You will notice the extremely fine detail to the white metal.Badge has excellent shape and is non-magnetic.Measures 3 1/8" by 2 1/4" in diameter.Reverse has full size copper lugs with a great patina.This item is from a veteran estate.Payment by Paypal only.I must have payment by 3:00pm Friday (12/16/2011) so I can ship ASAP as I will be gone for two weeks.Will send by USPS First Class Mail.Overseas shipping extra.
