1910s Chicago Cubs Baseball Pin / Button This is a very scarce early Chicago Cubs pin. It was an advertising piece issued to promote "Cub Shoe Polish" by means of the Chicago Cubs baseball team. The picture on the front is a Cub shining his shoes. The reverse reads, "A Bright Face and Shining Shoes, A Man's Best Capital. Use Cub Shoe Polish". This pin was manufactured by Martin & Martin in Chicago in the 1910's. Very few exist in this great condition.It measures 1.5" in diameter.
