EXTRA NICE MARBLED COCOBOLO COLT GRIPS FOR OFFICER SIZE. All are book-end matched sets!! Hand – Crafted Each set of grips is artfully & meticulously handcrafted from the finest wood stocks availed they also are hand finished a tedious job that requires a lot of patients. Hand Crafted: The artisan uses electrical assistance. Hand Made: The artisan uses only his hands & NO Electricity is used. The set of grips in the picture are the actual item you will receive OF-A-13! Each set has been precision made & pre-mounted and are specifically made & Pre-Fitted only for the COLT 1911 OFFICER’S MODEL. Will also fit Colt Defender, Compact Springfield Clones, Compact Kimber Clones, Auto Ordnance and Para Ordnance C7, Compact DAO& Various other Compact Size 1911 Clones. We only have Pre-Fitted for the COLT OFFICER'S & NONE OF THE OTHER MODELS SO PLEASE DON'T BUY UNLESS YOU ARE POSITIVE THEY WILL FIT YOUR GUN!!! The pictures may have some imperfections BUT I can assure you that the ITEM itself is made to perfection. The brightness of the finish is causing some pictures to look distorted and some of them look like they may have spots, after I look at the picture and if they look like they have a spot I put them under a strong light to make sure it’s just the picture and not something wrong with the item. We provide you with an extra-large jpeg image so you may examine the item with a very close-up view. NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED!!! All grips are .25” thick. They say that“beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, what we sell is very high quality wood all has been air dried to less than 6% moisture content. I have numerous Colt 1911 grips, original factory, after market cocobolo checkered cut on original Colt factory machines with medallions from Colt not cheap Asian copies, and a set of true elephant ivory obtained from Novack. the 1911 sight expert company. There were 2 sets available, Steven Segal (the actor and Marshall Art’s expert) bought one set and I bought the other. Of all the Colts (and I only buy Colts) that I and buy for modification upgrades, I only buy parts from Novak, Wilson Combat, Ed Brown and Karl Lippard (the best of the best). I consider the cocobolo heartwood grips I bought from you to be only second in quality, value and beauty to the original elephant ivory grips I own (the ivory ones were very expensive!) I will show your grips with pride and tell all I encounter where they may find you to obtain such a high quality and beautiful set of grips. "The Micro Fine Baked Fusion Finish" I think you have a winning finish here! It feels durable to me, it looks FABULOUS and, for the few guys who would prefer a dull finish, they could easily kill the gloss with fine paper (or even a "green pad") and polish with coarse rubbing compound for a nice, satin gloss. I think your process of heat-fusing the surface finishes is a great idea. It should give you an edge over other manufacturers. Definitely worth bragging about in your listings.
