1912 Crosley Field Stadium Seat Bottom Cincinnati Reds This is a rare original stadium seat wooden bottom from Crosley Field taken out in 1970. Has original paint. Measures 15 x 14 inches Comes with letter of Authenticity from 1935 CROSLEY FIELD STADIUM Cincinnati, Ohio HOME OF THE National League Cincinnati Reds (1912-1970) Negro League Cuban Stars (1921) Negro American League Cincinnati Tigers (1936-1937) Negro American League Cincinnati Clowns (1942-1945) These classic seats have seen such history as Bucky Walters, Johnny Vander Meer (2 no hitters back to back), Joe Nuxhall (15 yr old debut), Ted Kluszewski, Frank Robinson, Peyte Rose, Tony Perez, Johnny Bench, Satchel Paige (oldest pitcher in all-star game 1953), Hank Aaron 3000th hit, (1970), All-Star Games 1938 & 1953, Worls Searies: 1939,1940,& 1961againt NY Yankees Mantle & Maris.Negro League: Josh Gibson homerun over the Laundry building in left field some say longest ball every hit at Crosley . The Tigers were charter members of Negro American league in 1937. Ted (Double Duty) Radcliffe, Porter Moss, Jesse Houston, Roy Partow and Neil Robinson.
