The orignal edition was published in 1909, has 40 illustrations and has sold for as much as $1,500. (But always seems to be available.) This 1912 US edition by Doubleday, Page & Company has only 12 color illustrations, but seems harder to find!This copy has extensive rippling to the spine, with noticeable wera to the lower right corner. Internally it is clean.
