This is an original 1912 Japanese Navy sailors photo. It is marked Miyajima and the back has writing in Kanji that I had translated, it reads "June 16 Meiji (1912), I took a picture when stopping by Akinokuni Miyajima (Hiroshima) while the First Fleet was in port" the two sailors names and rank are "1st Class Shibuya and 1st Class Suzuki" It measures 5.25 by 3.5 inches in the mat and it is in excellent condition.
