This is "The Ingoldsby Legends of Mirth and Marvels" by Thomas Ingoldsby, illustrated by Arthur Rackham (1912, William Heinemann publisher). Blue cloth boards with gilt decoration, 24 tipped-in color plates, 12 tinted illustrations, and dozens of black and white spot illustrations and headers by the renowned artist. This is a reprint of the 1909 original. Owner's name and 1913 date on the front endpaper, corners of boards are bumped, frontispiece illustration has been creased in the past. Inside pages are clean. There is slight looseness in the spine, and an old stain on the back cover that looks like a water splotch. Still, a rare volume! From a non-smoking home. US postage is $3.50.
