This week I will be listing addition selections from an estate service of TIFFANY Sterling Silver. The design is one of only twelve Private Patterns created by Tiffany and dates to 1912. While it is truly "one of a kind", the pattern coordinates nicely with both English King and Shell and Thread. I sold many pieces of this beautiful sterling last year and am delighted to have a bit more available! This auction offers four 6 1/8" Fruit Spoons. The bowls are beautifully washed with Gold Vermeil. The back is stamped with the "Tiffany & Co." maker's mark, "STERLING" and the "m" date mark from the directorship of John Moore (1907-1947). These spoons are in excellent estate condition with only the light surface scratches that give old sterling its warm patina. The gold bowls are outstanding with no noticeable wear. The backs of the handles (see photo) have a lovely stylized monogram--"EHR". Since it is gold washed I have not cleaned this silver so t is just a little light tarnish, mostly on the backs. U.S. Priority shipping and proper packing will vary with your postal zone--sorry for the inconvenience but new postal rates make it necessary to use the USPS estimate above. Please see my other auctions for more of this very rare Tiffany service--including some incredible solid Gold Vermeil pieces-- and save on combined shipping!
