Original 1913 dated US Bayonet as manufactured and stamped by Remington. It is marked on the blade with the British broad arrow and other unknown markings on one side. The other side has the Remington stamps with the date 1913 and the numbers 3 and 16. The hilt is also marked 6 and below 214 which I assume are regimental issue markings. The blade is in fine condition and was never sharpened. It just shows some wear from being taken out of the scabbard. The grips are wood with a few minor scrapes and gouges from light use. The hilts has lost some ot its finish. T is no scabbard with this bayonet. A nice specimen of this US made World War I era bayonet for your collection.
