Richmond, VA Stuart 1913 Small Pox Prison LetterSept. 30, 1913 letter from Virginia Prison Superintendent to Stuart jailer informing Stuart's jailer that the prisoner, a woman, is quarantined from entering the prison system because of small pox in the county. Superintendent wants the jail physician to send a certificate that there is no danger of contagion. Any questions please ask.
