This auction is for 1-1914 Two and a Half Dollar "Indian Head" Philadelphia Mint Coin. We have been the only owner of this coin for at least the last 60 years and still has the Mint State appearance to my eyes as when we bought it years ago. Very high grade as you can see from the pictures when looking at the feathers in the head dress on the Obverse and the Eagle's wings on the Reverse. The coin has a few very light contact marks and does not appeared to have been cleaned in my opinion but I cannot say for sure. The contact marks appear more evident with the Halogen lighting I used to take the photographs. The most significant of these is on the Reverse near the rim between 12 and 1 o'clock. It has been stored with my other gold coins for all this time and has been tested to authenticate the gold composition. We are having to sell parts of my collections due to reasons we now have and will have many more coins for sale in the coming weeks. This particular coin will be shipped "Priority Mail" Flat Rate Envelope and will have "Signature Confirmation" included as well. The coin in the pictures is the exact coin that you will receive. I attempted to use three different lights to get variations on what this coin's appearance is to give you as much information as possible. The pictures show the coins obverse and reverse in lighting to read more
