Description : Charming First Edition of Anna M. Scott's "A Year With The Fairies" Children's Book. Published in 1914 by P.F. Voland & Co., Chicago. Illustrated by M.T. Penny Ross. Features holiday themed tales with corresponding fairy and is dedicated to all good children who believe in them. 40 full color plates of beautiful fairies in Art Nouveau stye of illustration and typography. Great collectible. Please see my other auctions for more antique children's books! Marks/Hallmarks/Signatures : See title page photo. Total Weight : 1lb 2oz Size : 8" x 10 3/4" Date : 1914 Condition : Fair to good. The cover is coming away from the pages and needs to be reattached though the binding is intact and there are no loose pages. There is some definite discoloration on the cover and some browning of the pages consistent with age. No major foxing. A couple of the pages are torn slightly from turning. Illustrations are still vibrant in color. Please carefully examine the pictures and bid only if you are confident that the item's condition is acceptable.
